Enjoy a trip to the Ballestas Islands.and its marine fauna in a fantastic excursion by speedboat, you will also see a mystery symbol called Candelabro which was carved in the cliff of the Paracas peninsula centuries ago by an unknown civilization.

Paracas is a small town has approximately 5000 dwellr and has a hot climate has a desert geography, rocky, sandy, with a contrast of colors for the minerals found there and its beautiful beaches to enjoy a relaxing bath in the Pacific Ocean;

Itinerary

08:00 am. We will start the Ballestas Islands tour boarding the speedboat that we will share with other clients and then we will navigate through the Paracas bay until we reach the Candelabro a figure similar to the Nazca lines carved in the rocky desert of the Paracas peninsula, here our guide will explain the different theories about this mysterious symbol.

Then we will sail out to sea until we reach the Ballestas Islands, here you will have the chance to watch very closely the sea lions and also possible to watch some groups of Humboldt penguins in small caves.

On top of island you can see hundreds of guaneras birds (a kind of birds that makes guano for export) like: whimbrel, Inca tern, Peruvian booby, surfbird, guanay cormorant, pelican, seagull, etc.
After having done the Ballestas Islands tour we will return to the port of Chaco Paracas at 10:00 am.

More information:

If you stay in Paracas, the pick up time is at 7.40 a.m from your hotel to transfer you to the pier and then starts the tour.
if you travel from Lima to Paracas the same day of the tour, is recommended to leave with Cruz del Sur at 04:00 am, 05:15 am, 06:30 am or 07:15 am upon arriving in Paracas we will be waiting for you at the bus station with your name in a sign for the transfer to the tourist pier and start the tour.

To Consider:

• The tour to the Ballestas Islands during holidays in Peru, such as Easter, National Holidays, new year, is usually very requested and many people travel so there are too many lines to board and the waiting time for boarding. It is usually up to an hour; and the duration of the tour is 1 hour and 10 minutes.
• The service is subject to variation without prior notice due to weather conditions (waves, wind, fog, rain, landslides, overflows, etc.), strikes and/or demonstrations and any other event that does not allow the normal development of the itinerary.
• Any cancellation of the service for the reasons indicated does not apply to a refund.
• In such case, the Operator could carry out a contingency plan with an alternative tour, for example, the White Island Tour.
